The people’s champ from P Rec brought the London streets to the heart of Shoreditch to go against the grain and takeover the biggest weekend in the running calendar. Call NSLB ‘The Truth’ because when asked if they called bank they replied and told them they called game. One for the community, one for the streets, one for those who was der, MARANOIA was pure love for the capital city - free tickets, free food, free vibes, this ain’t no money grab it’s a portrayal of the NSLB way. Collaborating with Nike to bring this event to life, they showed why they’re a trailblazer to take the running legacy to the 4th quarter and call Dame Time as NSLB rise to the occasion time and time again. A mix of sprint and endurance races with four £1000 cash prizes and an invite-only relay to bring the biggest names in London culture to the pass of a baton, they say there’s no smoke without fire but these man have both. Hate watchers talking the most about holding a running event the day before London Marathon, until they see Sir Mo Farah pull up blacked out in the new Alphafly 4’s to line up on a startline alongside Lippy and Odeal. Fem said to take a seat as he teaches you a lesson in culture to show what London looks like when he gets his hands on it, and he inspired the masses to show what you can achieve when you chase the goal you have in mind. CHANGING THE GAME.
Fem once said,
“you never see this spoken about, they don’t televise this, they don’t put this on the blogs, this don’t make the end of year awards, because it don’t fit the agenda, because we’re not a bunch of black yutes killing eachother - we’re changing narratives”
The narratives have officially changed and the big dawgs are getting behind it. You have to applaud a brand so proud of their vision, so proud of their roots they don’t try change to fit the agenda but make the agenda change to fit them. These guys pulled up with a vision and executed. Let’s not try set up a money grab, we’re holding one down for the community and inspiring the streets - free of charge. If this doesn’t now get televised you know there’s something wrong because NSLB are bringing together masses of people to run with and against each other, support each other, and most importantly, spread positive energy between each other. They had Mo Farah oozing aura alongside some of the UK’s biggest content creators in a race, someone call the big leagues and tell them NSLB are ready for promotion. We need mind maps for this kind of movement. Speed cams for this kind of motion. Changing the game like Steph when he brought out the 3 ball, the running purists might not like it, but the revolution gonna call these guys the ground breakers. Get to know, you must jump on the journey when there’s No Soldiers Left Behind.
