THE JAPANESE RUN RIOT.

They say there’s no school like old school and Ryudo Ueno is the f*ckin headmaster. Stepping correct on homesoil this one hits the origins too close. Osaka Castle towers the city but Ryudo tested the boundaries of this fortress to show why the modern day samurai has a lil different pep in their step. Covered in tats, dreads falling out the bucket hat, we going to start calling this one the Ryudo aesthetic because pulling up to Osaka looking like a timeless classic, this one looking like the Last Samurai the way he finna Cruise like Tom through the city. The streets have their eyes peeled on Japan the way they’re moving through the U.S holding down the Dutch this World Cup but shoutout Ryudo Eueno for holding sh*t down back home. This mission was no easy feat, the furthest Ryudo had run was 85km and here he was gearing up to do 100km for 5 days straight. Japan got slapped in the face with Typhoon Jangmi in the middle of the mission, but hustling like a man looking for his One Piece, Ryudo showed no sign of slowing down and pulled up to the Shibuya Crossing on the 5th day with 500km under his belt.

OSAKA TO TOKYO.

The first two days and first 200km was breezed through sheer samurai spirit and Osaka was conquered like Ryudo was pulling a katana out his back with every step. Day 3 then hit and the wall hit rapidly after. Energy tank fully empty and limits completely pushed past at the halfway point, this mission set up for the comeback of the year. In true Japanese fashion, Ryudo shaped up for a comeback like he’s Light Yagami ready to write the names of every path he ran past in his Death Note. Completely battered and utterly bruised, he finished the day with 200km to go and the mindset that quitting is absolutely not an option. The next day is a different type of mindset and NOTHING LEFT UNCLAIMED seething through his veins. Bro was broken and crying before the day even started and with nothing left in the tank he dragged his legs through a typhoon for 100km - that is different level. They have to rename the typhoon Storm Ueno the way Ryudo looked the circle in the eye and took on the storm with no hesitation of turning back. Body failed days ago but the mind refusing to quit is what the phrase mind over matter was discovered for. The finale dropped and Ryudo locked in. Moving like a prime Kante the way he didn’t stop moving even though his body was broken beyond the meaning of the word. Straight madness and finishing in Shibuya at 3:20 am this man showed how powerful a human being can be. They say there’s nothing more terrifying than mother nature but conquering a typhoon through his state of mind showed us why we need to respect the hardest. Arigato Ryudo Ueno, you showed us that anything is possible.

NOTHING LEFT UNCLAIMED.
