THE FASTEST MAN TO RUN ACROSS GREECE. HERCULES NICOLAOU, ON A MISSION.
(@hercuules, 2026)
MISSION GREECE. COMPLETED.
13 days, 22 hours, 23 minutes to make Hercules Nicolaou the fastest human to run across the length of Greece. The demigod with superhuman strength, ancient Greece called Hercules a divine hero, reborn this year to pull up to his home country on a mission and leave with NOTHING LEFT UNCLAIMED. Streets call Giannis the Greek Freak but this slasher really caught the rebound to run coast to coast waving his home flag in glory with 90 mins to spare of his original 14 day goal. Real ones know the Marathon was born in Greece, but the country has a new messenger telling the masses, “I was never born the quickest, strongest, toughest or talented, but I did it anyway.” 12,000km and 14 days later, Hercules ran through literal swamp-like rivers to achieve the goal. When your favourite trip to take is a trip to the trenches, you know there’s a dangerously ambition mindset for us to embody. They used to call the Manolas, Sokratis combo the Greek wall but this man ran through every wall to average 2 marathons a day and complete the mission to etch his name in the Greece Hall of Fame. Dripped out head to to toe in 247, Hercules really jumped on two 24/7 journeys to come home as the modern day Pheidippides, and become one of the greats of Greek running.

THE JOURNEY.
Imagine picking up an injury on day 3 knowing you have another 10 to go, however many K’s, hills and treacherous terrains. Adversity hits all of us but adversity doesn’t define the greats. Locked in like Michael Jordan’s flu game, Hercules pushed through the early achilles injury to cover over 11,000m of elevation, military borders, forgotten mountain trails, and restricted areas. They call him the modern day Odyssey but this Zeus moving like lightning crossing Mount Olympus on his own promised land to find the man he’s looking for at the end of the trail. The history maker headbutted straight into a brick wall at Day 8 and didn’t think he would finish. Knowing he’s only just halfway through and running on empty, it’s an insane level of sheer willpower to get through nearly another week of running on poor sleep. The setbacks is why you embrace the journey, and without the setbacks you don’t appreciate the result the same way. They say you can’t inspire people by doing something easy and Hercules Nicolaou, you are nothing short of an inspiration.

DO WE ASK WHAT’S NEXT?
It seems insane to ask someone who just broke the record of running the length of his home country what’s next, but Hercules is just built different. 247 athlete and Head of Brand at Cadence, it will be exciting to see where the brands go off the back of this. From running with the 247 team in a relay across Iceland to solo missions like running across Cyprus and Greece, he’s really putting himself in the deep end to understand what goes into these brand missions. Cadence being one of the most up and coming hydration brands in the game it’s hard to argue with Hercules at the forefront how far this is about to go. Hercules we join you on your journey.
NOTHING LEFT UNCLAIMED.
